LLIMEYS CHAIR PERSON TO STAND DOWN

Joan Zorn, one of the stalwarts of the LLIMEYS has said that she will stand down from the position of Chair of the LLIMEYS at the 2022 AGM!

Joan Zorn – Chair Person of the LLIMEYS

This will be a sad day for the LLIMEYS’ because Joan has been a major influence and guiding light for all of the events, activities and changes that have occurred during her tenure as Chair.

Please join us in wishing Joan well for the future and our thanks for all of the hard work and effort that she has put in to keep the LLIMEYS and the Llanymynech Heritage Area as a focal point for our community.

We are sure that many of you out there will have fond memories of Joan’s time as Chair and would welcome your thoughts and comments!

This means that we must seek a replacement for Joan, so if there is anyone who believes that they can continue the good work of the LLIMEYS, please let us know.

  1. Sad to have to report that Joan, my sister in law, passed away peacefully at Shrewsbury Hospital after a very short illness. Joan lived every minute of her life with gusto and commitment and joyfulness, sweeping away anyones worries or concerns and lived life to the full. She will be missed by her lovely family and many friends. RIP
