1 – Stables

- Create new roof
- Convert for use as an eduction room and museum, with toilet and kitchen
- Possibly add further room to south for demonstrating lime burning and use
- Consider benches in grassed area to south
2 – Draw Kilns
March – April 2007
- Remove large tree
- Stabilise tops
- Rebuild viewing platform and steps
3 – Hoffmann Kiln
October – December 2006

- Roof to be erected over the kiln (replica of original)
- Interior and exterior brickwork stabilised and ‘sagging’ areas supported by steel latice
- Care taken not to disturb bats
- Chimney checked and consolidation work carried out
- Archaeological investigation to look for flue fittings
- Create viewing platform at north end
4 – Tally House
September 2006
- Clear ivy and stabilise structure to make safe
- Remove fence
5 – Inclined Planes
August 2006 on
- Clear pathways either on or next to inclined planes
- New stiles/gates to western (Chirk) incline
- Possibly lay short sections of line for interpretation purposes
6 – Drum Houses
September – October 2006
- Remove ivy and stabilise buildings
- Secure iron artefacts
- Highlight cable ‘grooves’ and braking mechanism housings
7 – Small Kiln Below Quarry
March – April 2007
- Replace fence
- Stabilise stonework
- Open up base
